The Apostle Paul: The Next Great Gay Cake Baker

Gay Wedding CakeThe last couple of weeks it seems like our national news has been dominated by a couple of things: Gay wedding cakes & religious freedom laws. As gay people are gaining the right to marry, many Christians feel like they are losing their religious rights & freedoms while the media does nothing but point their cameras at this tension. The Church is NOT the Bride of Christ

The Bride of ChristConfession: Up until about 6 months ago I did not see the Church as being the Bride of Christ. I just couldn’t reconcile it being the Body of Christ & the Bride of Christ all at the same time. I seen them as being two totally different things: The Church being the Body of Christ & the Bride strictly as New Jerusalem as mentioned in Revelation 21. To me it just didn’t make sense.

How to Approach God with Boldness

????????????????????????????????????????One of the greatest disciplines of a mature believer’s life is prayer. Why do I refer to prayer as a discipline? Because it does take discipline to pray.

Ask any follower of Christ: Prayer is NOT easy! Sometimes it’s hard! We struggle with wanting to pray. We’re not in the mood. We don’t feel like it. Or we don’t know what to pray or how to pray or even where to begin. Sometimes we’re too ashamed to pray. We feel unworthy. Most don’t realize how much we sometimes have to overcome just to say the name, “Jesus…” Continue reading
